EnTech is seeking a full-time “VDC/BIM Designer” to support our VDC/BIM projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in architecture to support the planning, design, and construction process by creating, managing, and coordinating detailed digital models of buildings and infrastructure. The role focuses on using VDC and BIM tools to improve accuracy, collaboration, and efficiency across project teams.

Responsibilities:

• Design/generate/analyze/update parametric virtual smart BIM models for infrastructure/building projects, ensuring compliance with project objectives & industry best practices.
• Integrate advanced VDC methodologies by developing/deploying custom parametric assets & 3D models to drive design optimization & multipurpose solutions.
• Communicate technical concepts, provide expert guidance on VDC/BIM processes & oversee QC across multidisciplinary design teams.
• Model/coordinate MEPAS systems per VDC/BIM standards & applicable protocols/codes.
• Assess clients’ creative/functional requirements, analyze technical documents/reports & propose innovative, code-compliant design solutions.
• Convert design & construction challenges into standardized/project-specific digital workflows.
• Develop complex 3D BIM models & draft scaled construction documents to support bidding, procurement & contract award processes.
• Produce schematic/photorealistic renderings, construction/demolition animations & visualizations using advanced modeling & rendering tools.

Required Qualifications:
 

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field.
• Sound knowledge of multi-system building design, structural design/analysis, construction sequencing & lifecycle integration.
• Strong skills in schematic/computational design, energy simulations, rendering, animation & post-production/presentations.
• Ability to develop/deploy custom BIM assets/libraries, translate complex design/construction challenges into scalable workflows & generate high-fidelity BIM models.
• Familiar with BIM/accessibility/preservation standards & environmental code.
• Proficient in existing conditions modeling using LiDR scanning & parametric modeling/3D visualization using Revit/Rhino/Grasshopper/AutoCAD/Adobe Suite (Photoshop/Illustrator/Premier Pro).

Annual Compensation:

$67,500 - $83,500/year
