EnTech is seeking a full-time “VDC/BIM Designer” to support our VDC/BIM projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in architecture to support the planning, design, and construction process by creating, managing, and coordinating detailed digital models of buildings and infrastructure. The role focuses on using VDC and BIM tools to improve accuracy, collaboration, and efficiency across project teams.


Responsibilities:

• Design/generate/analyze/update parametric virtual smart BIM models for diverse infrastructure/building projects, ensuring alignment with project objectives & industry best practices.
• Assess clients’ creative/functional needs, analyze building technical documents/reports & propose innovative, code-compliant designs.
• Integrate advanced VDC methodologies by developing/deploying custom parametric assets & 3D models to drive design optimization & multipurpose solutions.
• Develop complex 3D BIM models & draft scaled construction documents to support bid procurement & contract award processes.
• Produce schematic/photorealistic renderings, construction/demolition animations & visualizations using advanced modeling/visual tools.
• Model/coordinate MEPAS systems in accordance with VDC/BIM standards and industry protocols.
• Convert design/construction challenges into standardized/project-specific workflows.
• Communicate technical concepts and provide expert support for VDC/BIM processes & oversee QC across multidisciplinary design teams.

Required Qualifications:
 

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field.
• Sound knowledge of multi-system building design/construction sequencing/data-driven project optimization.
• Proven competency in schematic design/design development/computational design/building energy simulations/construction documentation.
• Expertise in creating advanced BIM models & excellent ability to rationalize complex geometries for constructible & performance-optimized design solutions.
• Strong visual/graphic/3D post-production presentation/photorealistic renderings/schematic visualization/detailed animation skills.
• Proficiency in Revit/Rhino/Navisworks/Twinmotion/V-ray/Dynamo/Bluebeam/Photoshop/Illustrator/Premier Pro/PowerPoint.

Annual Compensation:

$67,500 - $83,500/year
