EnTech is currently seeking a "Asbestos Project Monitor” to join our team.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Project and air monitoring of abatement projects in accordance with applicable federal, state and local regulations
- Setup and operate air sampling equipment on site and collect appropriate number of samples before, during and after abatement
- Collect samples, take photographs, complete chain-of-custody forms, and prepare sample collection drawings
- Keep daily notes of all abatement and monitoring activities in a logbook on site
- Environmental assessments and remediation oversight, including regulatory compliance with asbestos and other federal, state, local and agency environmental rules and regulations
- Technical support and report writing
- Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
- Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with team members
- Travel to project sites throughout the New York Metropolitan Area
Required Qualifications:
- Current Valid NYS DOL Asbestos Project Monitor’s Certificate (obtained a minimum of two years ago)
- Valid NYS Driver License
- Ability to read project drawings and specifications
- Ability to use power tools, climb ladders, and carry sampling and ancillary equipment
- Trained to use PPE, such as masks, respirators, safety harnesses, etc.
- Ability to work flexible hours
Estimated Annual Compensation:
$70,000 - $90,000
